Mr. Wasden joined Thurston Group in 2025 as a Vice President, where he focuses on sourcing, diligence, execution and oversight of investments in healthcare technology and business services companies. Additionally, Mr. Wasden assists with debt capital raising and capital structure optimization efforts.

Prior to joining Thurston Group, Mr. Wasden worked as a Director on the capital markets team at Union Square Advisors, where he was responsible for capital raising and capital structure advisory for healthcare technology companies. Prior to this, he served as a Vice President at Leerink Partners (formerly Silicon Valley Bank), where he advised on transactions across both healthcare and technology. Prior to joining Leerink Partners, Mr. Wasden worked at Credit Suisse in their Leveraged Finance Capital Markets group. Mr. Wasden began his career at Reily Foods Company as a Process Improvement Engineer.

Mr. Wasden holds an MBA from The Darden School at the University of Virginia and a BS from Washington and Lee University.
